UAE astronaut terms his space mission experience incredible

The UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi has successfully completed first half of his six-month space journey and termed his experience incredible. In a tweet, the Arab world's first astronaut said he enjoyed every moment of his learning opportunity during the historic space journey. "It's been an incredible 3 months on the ISS, full of experiments and experiences - but every moment a learning opportunity," Al Neyadi tweeted on Friday. Al Neyadi, 42, has crossed the half way of his mission, which began on March 3 and is scheduled to return to the Earth by the end of August. World leaders have congratulated Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after he won re-election  in a historic run-off that posed the biggest challenge to his 20 years in power. Erdogan  won Turkey’s presidency with 52.14 percent of the votes, said the head of the Supreme Election Council, Ahmet Yener, on Sunday, making the results official. With 99.43 percent of ballot boxes opened, Erdogan’s rival  Kemal Kilicdaroglu  received 47.86 percent of votes, Yener said. Dubai: Ultra-luxury penthouse sold for record-breaking Dh420 million

As record-breaking deals in the prime category continue to occur, demand for Dubai’s ultra-luxury penthouses and residences continues to attract the ultra-rich. And, there are no signs of slowing down this trend. The most expensive penthouse in Marsa Al Arab was sold for a record-breaking Dh 420 million on Tuesday, according to luxury real estate firm Luxhabitat Sotheby’s International. Luxhabitat Sotheby’s International Realty sold the opulent property for Dh 17,000 per square foot. The buyer’s name and country of citizenship were not made public, though. The previous most expensive penthouse was sold for Dh 410 million at the Bvlgari Lighthouse on Jumeirah Bay Island in February 2023. SpaceX sends Saudi Arabia’s first female astronaut into space

SpaceX has launched the first female Saudi Arabian astronaut Rayyanah Barnawi into space on a private mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Rayyanah Barnawi, a stem cell researcher, became the first woman from the kingdom to go to space, and along with fighter pilot Ali al-Qarni, she will be the first Saudi Arabian to visit the ISS. The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has announced the change in its official name to the “Ministry of Foreign Affairs”. This change is effective in pursuant to UAE's Federal Decree- Law No. (3) of 2023 amending some provisions of Federal Decree-Law No. (8) of 2022 regarding the organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Non-resident Odias living in the UAE flew in specially on the inaugural Dubai-Bhubaneswar direct flight on Tuesday, May 15, 2023, and met Odisha's Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
