The 30 th edition of Arabian Travel Market 2023 kicked off at the Dubai World Trade Centre, with a spotlight on climate change during the opening session of the four-day event.
The tourism and economy figureheads from across the Middle East region converged to tackle climate change and ensure the implementation of sustainable policies.
Tourism is responsible for approximately 8% of global carbon emissions from transport, food and beverage, accommodation, and related goods and services.
