UAE: Sir Timothy Clark shares insights into aviation industry at ATM Dubai

Sir Timothy Clark, President, Emirates Airline, has addressed travel and tourism delegates at Arabian Travel Market 2023. Speaking on the Global Stage, Clark discussed the resurgence in passenger numbers being witnessed by the airline industry worldwide as well as the opportunities and challenges ahead. Renowned aviation commentator John Strickland accompanied him on this occasion. Addressing the performance of Emirates in the post-pandemic era, Clark said: “We used the period during the pandemic to carefully organize our resources. We devised a solid plan to kick-start as soon as the skies opened again. Dubai Chambers signs trade MoU with Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong

Pakistan: Rupee touches 300 in historic low against dollar due to political instability, IMF deal delay

The lingering political turmoil has been taking a severe toll on the market sentiments as the Pakistani rupee depreciated a further 3 % to a record 298.93 against the US dollar in the inter-bank market on Thursday.
