The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has not imposed a ban on visa for Pakistani citizens hailing from any city as it accords high values to its relations with Islamabad, a top diplomat says.
Consul General of the UAE Ateeq Al Remeithi at a ceremony cleared the air that the Emirates has not placed any sort of restrictions on UAE visa for Pakistan citizens.
Pakistan-UAE is one of the busiest air routes as South Asian nationals account for the second largest expatriate community in the UAE, totalling around 1.7 million. In November, the UAE government revised the naming guidelines for allowing entry into the Emirates. Pakistan passengers with a single name on their passports will not be allowed to enter the UAE, according to an official of Pakistan’s private airline quoting revised naming guidelines. https://dubainews.tv/no-uae-visa-restrictions-on-pakistani-citizens-ambassador/?feed_id=16132&_unique_id=644f307de8ab2
