Out of these three, Foxconn has employed about 30,000 women workers. The component suppliers for Apple’s ecosystem like Tata, Jabil, Avery, and Salcomp are also playing some role in offering jobs to many women. Jabil has around 4,200 women workforce out of 7,000 workers. The average age of most women is 21 years and they are mostly first-time employees. https://twitter.com/BizzBuzzNews/status/1648373704785805313 It is worth highlighting that Apple manufactures several devices in India including iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and AirPods.
